​Manuela Ursu, known in the realm of visions as Zataea, is a self-taught, multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice exists at the meeting point of cosmic symbolism, emotional anatomy, and mixed-media sculpture. Her work is rooted in Cosmic Whimsy, blending figurative elegance with ethereal light to capture moments of profound contemplation and the quiet wonder of existence.  

​Guided by intuition more than rules, Zataea explores the spirit through the language of stars, nebulae, and cosmic voids—treating them as metaphors for the human soul. Whether expressed through her native Romanian roots or a futuristic, technological lens, her art bridges heritage and imagination into a single, evolving mythos. Signature elements like puzzle-like structures within the human body symbolize the complexity and fragility of our lived experience, while the use of negative cosmic space represents the openness of possibility found in the unknown.
